Yarn along 27-02-2013

February is almost finished and I feel so tired and happy. It has a been a month full of news.

First of all last week we celebrated my daughter's second birthday and I spent two days cooking and baking. At the party there were jam tarts and different quiches and mini pizzas and cookies and a RAINBOW CAKE. Yes I managed in baking it!!! (I don't think I'll bake it any more in my whole life).

I'll post the recipe as soon as possibile. My little girl loved the cake and ate an entire slice of it.

 

Sorry but I am still reding the sister's house by Charlotte Link. It is a great book and I miss just a few pages to finish it.

 



This is a yarn along post!

Yarn along 20-02-2013

Having a wednesday date with yarn along is making me read and knit and crochet much more than in the past months.

I enjoy thinking to all of you reading and knitting as I'm doing, and I 'm starting to feel as part of a big family.

This week I worked on my floral crochet blanket. It can be described as a very relaxing crochet project and I know that I will love the result.

I'm planning to make one not in plain color, maybe something more similar to a rainbow.

 

 

I will start the sister's house today, I think it will be a good reading. I finished yesterday the second book of agnes browne story, and it was great. Agnes Browne makes me laugh a lot, and I really need to laugh in these days.
